Arduino Relay Module 2 Channel 12V - Optocoupler Protected
This relay module is triggered by a 12V signal and can be used with Arduino and other microcontrollers. It requires a 12V power source for its operation, but the signal pin can be controlled through the microcontroller. The Vcc and Gnd pins are common for multi-channel relays, with each relay having trigger pins like In1 and In2. To use the relays on the module, you simply need to send a signal to their respective trigger pins.
The trigger signal draws 20mA of current. This relay module can switch up to 30V 10A DC or 220V 10A AC, making it suitable for various projects. The module features NC (Normally Closed), NO (Normally Open), and COM (Common) terminals, allowing you to configure the relay to either create a short circuit or open the circuit when triggered.
For DC applications, connect the + to the COM terminal. If you want the circuit to be normally open, connect the - to the NO terminal. If you want it to be normally closed, connect the - to the NC terminal.
