The CJMCU-2551 is a fault-tolerant high-speed CAN device, which can be used as a CAN protocol controller and physical bus interface. The MCP2551 provides a differential receiver for the CAN protocol controller and is fully compliant with the ISO-11898 standard, including the 24V power requirements.
Typically, each node in a CAN system should have one device. The CAN controller produces a digital signal that converts into an appropriate signal for the transmission bus. Additionally, it provides a high-pressure buffer between the CAN control device and the CAN bus, which can be affected by high voltage spikes generated by an external device.
