Sharp GP2Y0A41SK0F Infrared Distance Sensor (4-30cm)

The Sharp GP2Y0A41SK0F is an analog infrared sensor capable of measuring distances from 4 cm to 30 cm. This sensor emits infrared light toward an obstacle and converts the reflected signal to an analog voltage output, providing reliable proximity sensing. The distance values provided are based on measurements with white paper (90% reflectivity) and show only minimal variance when used with gray paper (18% reflectivity).

The sensor output voltage is not linearly proportional to the measured distance but is closer to a 1/X relationship. This sensor is ideal for proximity detection applications.
